During the course I used a GPS device (Garmin Quest) to keep track of the road network and landmarks in the Makuleke concession. You can download this GPS data from this page in two formats; Garmin GPS database (*.gdb) and Google Earth format. You can load the Garmin format file to any Garmin Mapping device and you can use the Google Earth file in (you guessed it) Google Earth.

Download Garmin GPS database file

To download the Garmin GPS database file please click this link . Download should start automatically. After downloading the file it can be opened in Garmin Mapsource by selecting the 'File - Open' menu. The MapSource program is provided with all Garmin mapping capable GPS devices.

Download Google Earth file

To download the Google Earth file please click this link. Download should start automatically. After downloading the file it can be opened in Google Earth by selecting the 'File - Open' menu.
