EcoTrainingIn June 2002 my wife and I took part in an EcoTraining course. This course was conducted at Keer Keer private camp in the Timbavati game reserve (part of the greater Kruger National Park). The object of attending the EcoTraining course for us was learning about the bush and the animals. The course was awesome, I'd do it again anytime. The group was great and the instructors (Lex, Anton, Graham and Gavin) were excellent.

About EcoTraining

EcoTraining was established in 1993 to provide potential nature guides with the basic grounding, knowledge and professionalism required to enter this rapidly growing industry. Since then, hundreds of students have attended our courses and many of them have gone on to establish successful careers in the eco-tourism business. EcoTraining is owned by two highly experienced guides: Lex Hes and Anton Lategan. Lex brings more than 20 years of guiding experience into the business and is also a successful wildlife photographer and author. Anton has worked as a guide in some of southern Africa’s top game lodges and has traveled widely through southern Africa, visiting most of the remote wilderness areas in the regions.
