Vervet monkey in Keer Keer campI've compiled a list of items to take to the EcoTraining courses:

- Comfortable walking shoes
- Sandals for around the camp.
- Neutral coloured clothing.
- Jacket and jersey.
- Hat for protecting both the head and neck.
- Sunscreen.
- Bath soap and towel.
- Torch - very important as there is no power in the camp.
- Pen and paper (and lots of it!).
- Your own bedding such as a sleeping bag and pillow
- Raincoat.
- Insect repellant.
- Water bottle.
- Any snacks/cigarettes/wine :) etc. you would like as there are no shops in the area!
- Any reference / field guide books you may have.
- Binoculars!!!.
- Video camera and photo camera are optional but highly recommended!

N.B. PLEASE TAKE PRECAUTIONS AGAINST MALARIA.

Important items on the list are pens and paper and reference/ field guide books. Bring all the books you have about trees, insects, birds, mammals etc. You'll need them!
