Sand cabin bedroom Kieliekrankie is a small unfenced wilderness camp located about 45km from Twee Rivieren restcamp. As the camp is not fenced and for your safety a ranger is permanently based at Kieliekrankie. The camp consists of four dune cabins which are located on top of a red sand dune. One of the dune cabins has been adapted for use by the mobility impaired. Each dune cabin has 2 single beds, a bathroom with w/c and shower, an equipped kitchen with gas fridge / freezer, solar power for lights, gas for hot water and braai facilities on a deck. Electricity is provided by solarpanels. Electricity stays on during the night but plug points are not available so make sure that you either have car chargers for your electrical equipment or make sure that you don't need to charge anything.

Kieliekrankie doesn't have a shop or a petrol station. You can get petrol and basic food items at Twee Rivieren camp. Make sure you bring your own food, water and firewood to the camp when you stay there. The camp has it's own waterhole, but unfortunately the waterhole is very far from the cabins so it's useless fro wildlife viewing. There is cellphone reception in camp.

The area where Kieliekrankie is located is a fair game viewing area, but not spectacular. The area from Kieliekrankie to Twee Rivieren can yield good lion and leopard sightings though.
